SAFEZONE CERTIFICATION

Our wildly popular SafeZone Training is a highly interactive and in-depth workshop dedicated to enhancing one’s knowledge of the LGBTQ+ community while learning the foundations of active allyship through intersectional lenses. Participants of our SafeZone training will be provided with a better understanding of LGBTQ+ identities, how to embody the principals of being a SafeZone in their everyday lives, first-hand knowledge of LGBTQ+ experiences, clear and ready to utilize tools to provide a safe and affirmative space to marginalized communities and a space to ask any and all questions. Trainees will also be given their very own SafeZone Initiative SafeZone sticker to proudly display as well as a comprehensive manual chock-full of resources and activities.   

The SafeZone Initiative SafeZone Training can be run in a single session or split up into two separate days for ease of access.

Please Note: SafeZone attendees must be fully onboard with LGBTQ+ inclusion. For this reason, our SafeZone trainings are never offered to a mandatory audience.
